Scaleway Object Storage from your Mac

Scaleway is S3-compatible and region-strict. The preset fills in the endpoint pattern and fr-par so you only paste keys.

Scaleway’s Object Storage lives in fr-par, nl-ams and pl-waw, and like Hetzner it verifies that the signing region matches the endpoint. DockBird’s preset sets https://s3.<region>.scw.cloud and defaults to fr-par; switch both if your bucket is elsewhere.

Generate an API key in the Scaleway console (the access key and secret key pair), paste it into the connection sheet, and your buckets appear as folders ready for drag and drop, multipart uploads and Quick Look.

How to connect

  1. Press ⌘N or click the plus next to Servers in the sidebar.
  2. Choose the Scaleway tile.
  3. Fill in: Name · Bucket (leave empty to browse all buckets) · Region · Endpoint · Access key ID · Secret access key · Initial prefix.
  4. Click Save, then double-click the server. Approve the host key or certificate prompt if one appears.
