The agreement
DockBird (“the app”) is published by Beyond Git (“we”). By downloading or using the app or this website you agree to these terms. Because the app is distributed through the Mac App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where the two differ, Apple’s terms take precedence for App Store matters.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on Macs you own or control, under the Mac App Store rules. You may not reverse-engineer, redistribute or resell the app.
Trial and purchase
The app is free to download and fully functional for 7 days from first launch. After that, continued use requires a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple. Prices are shown in the App Store in your local currency and may change; a change never affects a purchase already made. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.
Your servers and data
The app connects to servers you configure using credentials you provide. You are responsible for having the right to access those servers and for the files you transfer. We do not store or have access to your credentials or files.
No warranty
The app is provided “as is”. We work hard to make it reliable, and we test it against real servers, but we cannot promise it is free of defects or suited to every purpose. Keep backups of important data; a file transfer tool can delete and overwrite files when you ask it to.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Beyond Git is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the app, including data loss. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the app.
Trademarks
DockBird is a trademark of Beyond Git. Mac, macOS and the Mac App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc. Other product names on this site belong to their owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
