Linode Object Storage (now part of Akamai) is S3-compatible and organised by cluster. The Linode tile in DockBird suggests the endpoint https://<cluster>.linodeobjects.com; replace the placeholder with your cluster id, such as us-east-1 or eu-central-1.
Create an access key under Object Storage in the Cloud Manager, paste the pair into the connection sheet, and DockBird lists your buckets. Everything else is the standard S3 workflow: prefix folders, multipart transfers, recursive delete, storage class column.
How to connect
- Press ⌘N or click the plus next to Servers in the sidebar.
- Choose the Linode tile.
- Fill in: Name · Bucket (leave empty to browse all buckets) · Region · Endpoint · Access key ID · Secret access key · Initial prefix.
- Click Save, then double-click the server. Approve the host key or certificate prompt if one appears.
